THIS IS US
We all have bagage, and if you want to understand ours, you’ll need to know our history – but if you want to know who we are, you’ll need to know our employees. Read about both here.
THE VISION
Another Consulting Firm was never meant to be just another consulting firm. We wanted to do things a little differently: how we advise, how we lead, how we work, and how we develop. We see technology and organization as two sides of the same coin. Our consultants are specialized in either IT or people - with a solid understanding of the other. We work across the spectrum because we believe the best solutions happen when technical expertise and organizational understanding meet in the middle. Quality defines everything we do. Not just as a buzzword, but as a standard we hold ourselves to in every project, every deliverable, every collaboration. And collaboration is not a strategy we pull out when convenient; it’s how we work, every single day – because ideas get sharper and people get smarter. We do not make client work about us; we make it about setting up our clients for the best possible outcome. Our vision is to unite people and technology through quality, collaboration, and a constant drive to be the best at what we do.
1 JANUARY 2024
Despite New Years hangovers, we managed to successfully register our new company, and Another Consulting Firm P/S was born!
NO REST FOR THE WICKED
The digital ink on our registration papers had barely dried before we landed our very first contract and got to work!
MOVING DAY
We got the keys to our very first office full of excitement - and within hours, full of water. On day one, a heater unit broke while Steffan was mid-meeting, and Daniel ended up burning his hands trying to hold back the flood until a plumber arrived. Two days later, our very first employee had her first day at work as Josefine joined another. For the first few weeks, things didn’t get much more glamorous: one desk, no chairs, and an old coffee machine doing its best to keep us alive. With no whiteboard, we sketched the outline of our very first proposal on the cardboard box from that single desk. The client never replied at the time — but, in true underdog fashion, we won the assignment eight months later. Eventually, we realized that sitting on the floor with laptops wasn't sustainable, so off we went to IKEA. Picking out sofas, desks, lamps, plants, and chairs felt like we were a newlywed couple moving in together, now debating our first shared interior style.
BUILDING BLOCKS
Three is a crowd – so we invited even more colleagues to join our young firm! By the time we were seven, it started to feel like a real team, and we finally managed to finish decorating. Everyone chipped in during late evenings, and Christoffer in particular earned legendary status for building our custom bookshelf. Looking back, the space was chaotic, underfurnished, and occasionally leaking, but it was ours, and that made all the difference.
HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS
Hosting our very first client event felt both thrilling and terrifying. We were a small company with a small office, inviting people from big, established firms — and quietly wondering if anyone would even show up. To our relief (and slight panic), the event sold out almost immediately. Under the title “Change Models Compared”, we walked through ten different Change management models: some well-known, others more obscure. The room quickly filled with debate as we weighed the strengths, weaknesses, and right moments for each approach. The conversations flowed, the wine flowed even faster, and the evening stretched on for more than two hours longer than planned. Nobody seemed eager to leave, which we took as a very good sign. That night also marked the birth of the Change Compass - our way of helping change managers choose the right tool for the context.
HELP WANTED
We found ourselves in need of more great colleagues – and since cloning isn’t an option, we posted our very first job ad!
